number 8. ARDA's annual golf tournament was held at
Belvedere Country Club near Hot Springs, Arkansas. Meador's,
Jim McClain, and Billy Higdon went on to win the ARDA
tournament with a 4 under par 68. (See

The 2005
Arkansas Rental Dealers Association (ARDA) Spring Convention
and tradeshow kicked off with a golf tournament at the Belvedere
Country Club near Hot Springs, Arkansas. The threesome of Bill
Meadors (Ashley), Jim McClain (Sears), and Billy Higdon took
first place with a 4 under par 68.
Arkansas may be a small state, but ARDA is one of the most
active rental associations in the country. Solid relationships
bring vendors from major companies to Hot Springs each year. In
an effort to increase the return on investment for it's vendors,
ARDA hopes to merge their annual tradeshow with one or more
surrounding states.
Association president Alan Frasier met with Vendors following
the tradeshow to discuss the possibility of folding the ARDA
convention into a larger regional show, possibly in partnership
with Missouri (MRDA).
