Huntington West Virginia police
reported an unsuccessful burglary attempt ended after the thief
fell through the ceiling at the Rent-A-Center on 8th Street.
According to police, the person entered the building through
a vent hatch on the roof late Sunday night. After he was through
the hatch the man fell through the ceiling and landed on a
stereo system. The would-be burglar then left through the back
door without stealing anything. Total damage to the ceiling and
stereo totaled $700.
