For the first time, RentDirect Nationwide, the leading rent-to-own buying and marketing group for independent rental dealers representing more than 260 rental dealers throughout the country, will host their annual Member 2 Member Summit in connection with the PrimeTime! by Nationwide event.

Kasich host of Fox News' Heartland with John Kasich, will keynote the PrimeTime! convention (see story).

It’s less than two weeks until Nationwide Marketing Group, parent company of RentDirect Nationwide, kicks off their summer PrimeTime! convention; and the leading buying and marketing group for independent appliance, electronics and furniture dealers is already reporting record breaking registration numbers for the event. Nationwide’s pre-convention report shows a forty-two percent growth in individual attendance over their 2005 summer event. The group’s year over year individual attendance is currently up over 19%.

Ed Kelly, president of Nationwide Marketing Group, parent company of RentDirect Nationwide said, “We’re expecting 3,500 in attendance for this show. We already have over 1,100 individuals from the vendor community registered. Our PrimeTime! convention is truly becoming a can’t miss event.”

There are now over 180 companies, including major manufacturers and service providers within the major appliance, consumer electronics and furniture industries, set to exhibit at the show.

In response, Nationwide has expanded their PrimeTime! vendor show floor. Their new vendor exhibition space exceeds the group’s current record by over 20,000 square feet.

Kelly said the show floor space has increased because “Our vendor partners are bringing more products and more people, so they need more space.”

Registration and show floor square footage are not the event’s only record breaking elements. Nationwide’s event management team reports that over one million pounds of freight is expected to be delivered to the show, which is yet another new record for Nationwide’s PrimeTime! convention.

This PrimeTime! also marks a first for Nationwide’s RTO division, RentDirect.
