Benefit Marketing Solutions (BMS)
of Norman, Oklahoma, long time marketers of membership programs
to the rental purchase industry, announced plans for a merger
with
Alliance Health Card of Atlanta, Georgia.
Alliance is a licensed discount medical provider organization (DMPO)
delivering access to discount medical programs and products from
physicians, dentists, pharmacies etc., through companies like
BMS.
“BMS presently serves over 400,000 consumers nationwide with
services similar to those provided by Alliance, so the union of
the two entities is expected to deliver greater value and levels
of service to the customers of both organizations,” said Danny
Wright, CEO of BMS.
Benefit Marketing Solutions’ management will retain a
controlling interest in the merged company.
“The combination of our two companies presents an opportunity to
compliment each others corporate goals in a way that is
uncommon,” said Wright.
The merger is expected to close in the first quarter of 2007.
