released a new version which includes a complete redesign of the
user interface.
RTO Pro now has Office 2007 style ribbon bars,
quick launch buttons and taskbar with a customizable "My Menu"
section that can be customized by the end user, speeding access
to commonly used functions.
Ron Ganus, President and head of development for FutureWare
Enterprises Inc., makers of RTO Pro, said the software is much
more than a simple RTO POS package. "RTO Pro has built-in
features for rent to own, short term rentals, retail sales,
installment sales, revolving charge sales, cash advance loans
and check cashing," said Ganus.
RTO Pro is compatible with Windows Vista. "This redesign is part
of our ongoing commitment to keep RTO Pro updated with the
latest technology and operating system enhancements," Ganus
said.
Additional features include: Integrated credit card processing,
integrated WYSIWYG word processor to customize contracts,
letters, invoices and other forms printed in RTO Pro, laser
printed agreements, barcode inventory control, integrated time
clock, integrated document imaging for scanning drivers license,
applications etc.
RTO Pro is fully integrated with
TeleTrack for application
processing and Central File for mail lists.

RTO Pro started in 1990 as a DOS program used by a few
stores in Central Florida. In 1994 RTO Pro started marketing
nationwide and was the first rental purchase software available
for purchase via the internet. In 1997 RTO Pro was converted to
the 32bit Windows platform, RTO Pro was the first 32 bit Windows
software (Windows 95) for the rent to own industry.
