my name is elizabeth quesenberry of 58 riverview terr. chicopee, mass. 01013 and i am writing this to complain about the poor service i had after purchased a compaq 19 inch computer at the springfield plaza, aarons.when signed contract i asked the rather overbearing in a hurry manager if their people sets the computer up when delivered ..he said, yes..i wanted to make sure because i am 73 and no nothing about setting up a computer.when they the supposive set-up men they did not seem to know what they were doing..they were not impolite or rude..however, had to tell them to attach printer, and when they walked out the door said had to call aol to get on. really now, went to call aol and had no phone..to call it was not connect, neither was the sound on computer. had to go without phone for day and a half then call gentleman to set the computer up properly. this cost 50.dollars out of pocket. if known the set-up men were untrained would not have bought the computer in first place. besides being upset with this treatment when called the manager of aarons using neighbors phone, he was v ery rude and said do not teach computer, did not want to be taught just have computer set up property, then he said, i should plug in the phone my self. i dont know anything about all these plugs and wirers. am afraid to touch anything like that. the imcopentent set up men also, left a heavy wicker chest , that they had moved without putting it back had to tell them to put it back. please answer my complaints am very upset over this poor service. i will keep the computer because like it but still does not have sound and when tried to get sound aol and computer said, sound not plugged in..i have no idea to how to plug in sound..?..plan to purchase couch-chair and mattress from aarons..after try pay off computer in advance of 1 year..but still feel i was not told the truth about the set-up and was subject to a rude manager who left me without a phone. elizabeth
