I purchased a new set of wheels from Wheel Workz on American Way. Got the car back, wheels/tires were out of balance. I took the car back, had them re-balance them, they told me the tires were out of balance because I spun my tires on the rim (ok, sure). I get in my car again, wheels/tires were still out of balance. I had to take it back a third time, they still didnt get it right. They blamed the technician and the wheel balancing machine this time, but my wheels/tires were still out of balance even after 3 attempts on their part to get it right, regardless of their excuses. Frustrated because Ive alread spent two afternoons up there, and even took off work the last time to make sure they had time to get it right, I take my car home to get my truck to pick up my factory wheels/tires. On my way home, I realize they didnt give me my wheel lock key back. I assume Ill just get it when I go to pick up the factory wheels they originally took off. I get to the shop again, explain that the tires were still vibrating, but I was there with my truck to pick up my factory wheels, and I needed my wheel key back...not once did they mention anything about doing anything to resolve the still out of balance tires, they just went back there and got my stock wheels together. I ask them for my wheel key, and the technician swears he put it in the seat of my car. I didnt see it when I drove it home, but I told him Id give him the benfit of the doubt and double check. I get my factory wheels and head home, when I get there I go through the passenger seat, under the seat, in the console, glove box, driver seat, no key. I drive back up there, again, the third time that day...As soon as I pull up, the tech knows where the key is, how ironic. He pulls my left front wheel lugnut cover off and the key is sitting in the wheel lock, on the wheel!!! They left it on my car and covered it up! The manager standing right there, said "you gotta watch big chief", not anything about how sorry they were for all my inconvenience, no plan of action they planned to take on the employee, nothing. I get in my car and go home, so mad and blown away at the lack of service I get from this place. The next day, I wait to see if anyone is going to bother to call me and try to make it right. Nothing. I send a complaint across, and I get an immediate response from the salesperson saying they want to make it right, and the owner is very concerned. We negotiated briefly and once we came to agreement, the communication stopped, and they put me off for 3 business days...meanwhile, Im still driving a brand new car with some seriously out of balance tires. I sent them a couple more emails, I get nothing in regards to whats going on, when itll be done, or how theyre going to do it. Even more frustrated now, i decide the only way Ill get anything done is if I take matters into my own hands. I ordered another set of wheels online and received them a few days later. (Im so disgisted about this ordeal, every time I look at the car with their wheels I get sick to my stomach, so I replaced them) I pay my mechanic to install the new wheels and balance the tires, and guess what we find. A bad tire. The bad tire had a road force measurement of 28, and supposedly Wheel Workz had road force balanced them, so they should have seen it. It gets better. We look at all four tires, 3 of them had the tits worn off, and the fourth (the bad tire) still had some tits left on them...so apparently, during one of Wheel Workz attempts to balance the tires, they replaced one, and replaced it with another bad tire!!! Never did they mention it to me at any time. I cant think of any reason anyone would want to do business with these clowns, they have displayed the absolute worst customer service Ive ever seen, and they have no priority in fixing their mistakes. I am writing this in hopes that others may see it and take their business elsewhere, I dont want to see anyone else get treated the way I have been. I dont trust them to work on my car anymore, after 3 failed attempts to balance the tires, lying to me when explaining why the tires were out of balance, leaving the wheel key on the wheel, and then their lack of response to my complaint has led me to never do business with them again, and to pass the word so others can choose a better option for new wheels and tires. My experience has been unbelievable.
