For the first time ever in 2004, GE Consumer & Industrial-Appliances exclusively offered TRIB (The Rental Industry Buying Group) members an Individual Bonus Growth Rebate along with the company's long standing Group Volume Rebate program. "If you measure success by numbers, then both programs were off the charts," said Paul Eichberger, GE Rental Sales Manager.

In 2004, GE had the largest member payout ever with the Group Volume Rebate, and 17 dealers qualifying for the Individual Bonus Growth Rebate and qualified for additional rebates totaling more than $58,000. "We really want to thank those qualifying dealers in 2004 for making the Individual Bonus Growth Rebate program such a resounding triumph," said Eichberger. Qualifying Dealers were Prime Time Rentals, Easy Rental, Furniture & Appliances Now, Colorama Rental Center, Baber’s Rent To Own, United Household Rentals, CM City Inc., Ace Rent-To-Own, Keller Rental Place Inc., Star Rentals, Buzz’s Rental Purchase, Pearsey’s Enterprises, Inc., National TV Sales & Rental, Woodville Rental Company, Rent USA, First American Rental and Rent America.

In 2005, GE is again offering TRIB members the same opportunity to earn both a group and an individual rebate. "Because the individual bonus growth rebate program was such a success last year," explains Eichberger, "we decided to run it again and keep the program qualifications entirely the same as in 2004. Even though it’s February, don’t worry TRIB members, you still have time to start qualifying towards earning both rebates."
