Rental Ownership, a division of retail furniture giant Badcock,
gave RTO Online a peek at the company's new logo (left) and announced plans to begin
recruiting staff for concept stores.
"We are targeting 3 concept store openings beginning in Q2,
2005," said Dan Companion, Director of Operations - Rental
Ownership Division. "We are aggressively seeking top rental
industry talent for General Manager positions."
"Home NOW has been researching and refining a model we
believe will bring rent to own to the next level," Companion
said. A $400 million furniture retailer with over 300 locations,
Badcock plans to open 100 Home NOW rental ownership stores in
the Southeast over 5 years. "We're looking for people who know
how to WOW customers."
After years of consolidation, its refreshing to see new
companies entering the RTO fray.
