Westinghouse Décor™ frames and mattes are available in 12 different combinations
of contemporary and traditional style frames and matte colors to complement the
company’s new
“frame-ready” LCD TV line.
A patent-pending design allows IR signals from the remote control to pass
through to the TV, and sound from the TV’s speakers to pass through to the
viewer. “Westinghouse Décor™ frames are an extension of the popular ‘skin’
concept for consumer electronics products today which enable consumers to
customize the look of their cell phones, car radios and MP3 players,” said
Douglas Woo, president of Westinghouse Digital. “We have taken the concept to
the next level for the LCD TV to provide each customer with an opportunity to
frame the TV to match his or her own personal taste in home furnishings,” Woo
said.
Customers will be able to choose from three styles of wood frames – Classic
Gold, Modern
Mahogany and Contemporary Black, and four different matte colors – ebony,
burgundy, almond and
white. Additional style and color choices will be introduced throughout the
year.
Westinghouse Decor™ frames can be attached without the need for tools
to a
“frame ready” Westinghouse LCD TV mounted on a wall. Westinghouse Decor™ wall
mount
solutions are available directly from the company.
