What's in a name? Stanleys Rent to Own recently changed it's name to Stanley's Get It Today! Owner Craig Stanley says the reason is simple, "We want to broaden our corporate image and curb appeal to attract people who may other wise not even consider stepping into a rent to own store."

Stanley operates 8 locations in Oklahoma. "We have been very careful to keep the new logo’s look as close to the old one as possible so we don't lose our well established identity in existing markets," he said.

Operationlly, nothing will change. "Our primary business has always been and will always be rental purchase. However, we have always offered so much more than just rental purchase. Including, new sales, used sales, no interest financing, 90 days same as cash, and early purchase options."

All Get It Today! locations large vinyl signs stating new and used retail sales. "Everything in our stores are tagged with retail prices," said Stanley. "However, we believe that the old Stanley’s Rent To Own awnings send a blinding message to any potential retail customer. After 7 years in business I still had people around town ask me if we “just rent things”. I believe this change will really open things up for us by making our name and image more appealing to a larger segment of the population."

Stanley believes Get It Today more accurately describes what his company has always done, without excluding those potential retail or special finance customers.
