Withit is celebrating it's 10 year Diamond anniversary.

Melissa Galt, lifestyle diva, motivational speaker and interior design professional, will kick off the day on Wednesday, August 8, with her talk, “Designing Your Signature Life.” Galt is the great granddaughter of Frank Lloyd Wright and author of Celebrate Your Life!

WithIt, the premiere organization dedicated to the support and development of female professionals in the home furnishings industries, named Melissa Galt as keynote speaker for its annual educational conference.

This year’s 3-day event celebrating the group’s 10-year diamond anniversary is titled, “Mining the Opportunities: Rock Solid Strategies for Success,” and is scheduled for August 7-9, in Charlotte, N.C. The event is open to the industry, regardless of WithIt membership.

The Art of Celebrating Every Day. Galt will be on hand to sign her book following the presentation.

WithIt’s popular, annual three-day program is specially priced to benefit members, and is designed to facilitate professional and personal development. It opens on Tuesday, August 7, with Professional Branding, a half-day session available to members and non-members for an additional $50.00 fee, in which participants will work on bio writing and other business building communications with a team of industry-experienced facilitators. The afternoon workshop is geared for professionals interested in branding themselves within their industry segment.

WithIt inaugurates this year’s Educational Conference with a cocktail reception on the evening of August 7, to officially welcome all participants.

A dynamic range of breakout sessions scheduled through Thursday, August 9, include: Creating Financial Wellness; Secrets of Successful Women; Successfully Focusing Amidst Multiple Tasks; Non Verbal Communication; New Social Media (blogs, pod casting, etc.);Tips from Successful Women: How to Create Opportunities for Yourself within Your Organization; Coaching Retail Sales Consultants for Maximum Profitability; and Branding across the Channels.

WithIt’s 10th annual WOW awards reception and dinner, recognizing exceptional home industry professionals, is scheduled for the evening of August 8. The dinner is open to non-conference attendees for a fee of $60 per person, or $1000 for a sponsor table of 10 seats.
