 Under the
agreement, Sharp guarantees to supply Syntax-Brillian with a
minimum of 700,000 LCD panels during 2008 for 32", 37", 52" and
65" sizes.
Syntax-Brillian Corporation (NASDAQ:BRLC), makers of
Olevia, a popular supplier of LCD TVs to the Rent to Own
channel, has signed an LCD panel supply agreement with
Sharp Electronics Corporation.
Under the agreement, Sharp guarantees
to supply Syntax-Brillian with a minimum of 700,000 LCD panels
during 2008 for 32", 37", 52" and 65" sizes,
with the option to purchase additional LCD panels as needed
based on market demand. The contract also provides the
exclusive right to Syntax-Brillian to
purchase the 65" 120Hz LCD panel through September 2008.

believe that the 65" 120Hz LCD panel is the most technologically
advanced panel produced by Sharp and we are proud to offer our
channel partners and customers the largest, mass produced LCD TV
currently available," stated James Li, Syntax-Brillian's CEO.
"This agreement strengthens our pipeline of LCD panel supply as
we prepare for continued growth in 2008."
