Toshiba is
enhancing its lineup with the introduction of three new LCD
televisions featuring slot loading DVD players.
Toshiba America said at CES that it
intends to support all the major DVD formats. "The market for
standard definition video products remains strong," said Jodi
Sally, Vice President of Marketing, Toshiba America Consumer
Products Digital A/V Group. "We are committed to supporting all
the current DVD technologies that consumers demand."
Toshiba is enhancing its lineup with the introduction of three
new LCD televisions featuring slot loading DVD players.
Available in 19" and 22" screen sizes, each set features a high
gloss bezel and slim cabinet design.
Toshiba's 22LV505 features a 22" widescreen LCD screen with 1680
x 1050 resolution and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The HDMI and PC
inputs, along with a very thin chassis depth of just 2.95",
allow consumers to easily integrate this set into their home
offices or kitchens. Additionally, the 22LV505 supports WMA,
MP3, JPEG and DIVX playback.
Toshiba's 19LV505 offers a 19" widescreen LCD display.
Remarkably thin, this set touts a chassis depth of just 2.64".
Like its larger sibling, it offers an HDMI and PC inputs and
supports WMA, MP3, JPEG and DIVX Playback. This set also comes
in high gloss white as the 19LV506.
Toshiba's new line of DVD Recorders all feature high definition
upconversion capabilities and one touch recording to enable
consumers to easily integrate these models into their home
theaters.
In single deck recorders, Toshiba's D-R410 single deck DVD
recorder offers 1080p upconversion to near high-definition
picture quality through HDMI, REGZA Link, supports -R/RW and +R/RW
recording and playback and includes a DV input and MP3/JPEG
playback. The step-up D-R560 adds to these features ATSC/NTSC
tuners and WMA and DivX playback. These two recorders also
feature a high gloss black cosmetic design.
