World Market Center’s special “Rep Appreciation Day” will be Sunday, January 29, 2007, and will offer food, beverages and hospitality throughout the day for all attending sales reps. Events for Rep Appreciation Day will run throughout the day in the Grand Atrium of Building B.

The First Rep Appreciation Day took place the day before the January 2007 Las Vegas Market and when World Market Center devoted an entire day of festivities to recognize the important efforts of furniture sales representatives.

“Rep Appreciation Day is our way of showing the rep community how much we appreciate them as a driving force for the industry,” said Harvey Dondero, chief executive officer of World Market Center.

“We are elated that World Market Center is planning a second Rep Appreciation Day at the start of the July Market to show their continued support and recognition of the sales representative,” said Kathy Parks, executive director of International Home Furnishings Rep Association (IHFRA).

“As an organization, we use Rep Appreciation Day as an opportunity to highlight the benefits of our group to reps who may not already be members," Parks said.

Rep Appreciation Day events:
Who: All furniture industry reps (attendees will simply be asked to show their rep badges for admittance to the events)

Times: 8:00 a.m.– 10 a.m.– Breakfast
11:30 a.m.– 3 p.m. – Lunch
4 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Happy Hour with the Good Vibrations Band

The Summer Las Vegas Market will take place July 30-August 3, 2007 at World Market Center’s Buildings A and B, the Pavilions; the temporaries will be featured at the Sands Expo opening on Tuesday, July 31.
