Nearly 60 franchisees and vendors competed in the annual ColorTyme Golf Outing at Cherokee Valley Golf Club in Olive Branch, Mississippi Friday. The outing was held in conjunction with the company's convention in nearby Memphis, Tennessee.

Scores were low despite Cherokee Valley's 6751 yards, 11 lakes and 78 bunkers. Winners will be announced Saturday; but rumor has it the winning score was a 7 under par 65.

Cherokee Valley was designed by Don Cottle, Jr. and opened in 1996. The club has been ranked #4 in the state by Mississippi Business Journal and is host to several national tournaments including the National Lefthanded Golfer's Association. Yes, it's a real association with the slogan; "The only people who stand on the right side of the ball."

Franchisee Louis Garcia's (right) name was drawn to try a 50 foot putt, sponsored by Ashley Furniture, for $2,500. Unfortunately, the wind caught the ball and the putt went wide left.
