Division
Kwon is responsible for the overall management and direction of
the consumer electronics, commercial products and information
technology businesses.
"K.I. Kwon has extensive experience in digital display and
digital media products as well as with the LG brand in North
America and globally," said Michael Ahn, president and CEO of LG
Electronics North American Headquarters.
During his 24 years with LG, Kwon has held a variety of senior
positions with LG Electronics Germany and LG Electronics
Corporate, as well as vice president of Digital Television
Marketing for North America.
He succeeds J.M. Lee who is leading LG's mobile phone
initiatives in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States
(Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan,
Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine).
