When a mattress guy says customers are very comfortable with his brand – does he recognize the pun?

Knowing what Serta stands for and recognizing there is a quality name and brand behind our product puts customers at ease with their purchase,” said Brad Rogers, Southeast Regional Manager for Serta, Inc.
Serta focuses on building its brand to such an extent than it spends more than twice as much on national advertising than the next closest competitor. The counting sheep campaign currently running has been a very successful one for Serta, with the sheep’s likeness being turned into popular stuffed animals.
“It’s not just about making a quality product and then making sure everyone knows about it. Service is very important to Serta. As the brand leader within our industry we have been first-to-market with several innovations. We were the first major manufacturer to enter into flame-resistant mattresses with our exclusive Fireblocker® process. Fireblocker makes Serta mattresses compliant with California’s open-flame test, one of the most stringent out there.”
Serta’s commitment to service extends to product shipments. The Serta promise on all orders is “100% complete, 100% of the time, 100% on time”. It helps that all Serta mattresses are domestically manufactured at multiple production facilities across the United States.
Serta’s entry into the rental market is so new that as of press time formal product specs were still being finalized. But a good-better-best mattress offering is anticipated with a minimal turn-around time for orders. All orders are placed directly with Serta, and the company is ready for RTO.
“We think it’s a channel of distribution that’s really untapped. We’re very excited to bring Serta quality to a whole new type of customer. Our core demographic is women 25-54, and I think that’s a prime rental target, too. There is tremendous upside in this new alliance for everyone - RentDirect, rental stores, Serta – and most of all, for rental customers.”
