I am a Rent to Own Widow

I wrote this poem 5 years ago when we decided to honor the significant others in our lives. I have found most employees that change their attitude about RTO, do so because of the slack they get at home.

I have been a RTO widow for more than 20 years. I Decided RTO was stronger than I was so I joined. 18 years later I am the Executive Vice President of our 14 store chain.

I am a Rent to Own Widow

I will encourage

I will support

I will educate myself in the world that consumes my mate

Because I am a Rent to Own Widow

I will be understanding

I will be a good listener

I will keep dinner warm (Hey right)

Because I am a Rent to Own Widow

I will understand missed appointments

I will forgive the lack of attention to home details

I will overlook the late nights

Because I am a Rent to Own Widow

I will forgive every conversation revolving around Rent to Own

I will overlook the restless nights

I will keep the home fires burning

Because I am a Rent to Own Widow

Above all else I will support my mate in everything they do

Because I am a Rent to Own Widow
