Ideal Software Systems Headquarters

IDEAL Software Systems, makers of The Ideal Rental Manager (TIRM), a leading point of sale software package for rent to own stores, held it's annual users conference recently at the company's headquarters in Meridian Mississippi.

The Ideal Software development staff reviewed TIRM’s comprehensive abilities, and introduced many new features of The Ideal Rental Manager software version 11.3e; including much broader home office and store level reporting and state-of-the-art internet communication technology with Ideal’s new Auto-Up program.

The Ideal Network Services Division also unveiled DataVault (see story) remote backup service and hardware rental/lease and warranty programs. The Support Department announced the new support organization restructure and presented the benefits of support services and training.

TIRM For Windows
Users got a glimpse of the new TIRM for Windows development progress and a unique opportunity to "test drive" the new TIRM Corporate Office application now under development. New features including barcoding, electronic inventory auditing, new 3" receipt printers, the Peachtree & Quickbooks accounting interface and the Ideal Payday Advance products were also available for testing.

Round Table discussions always popular!
Round table discussions focused on collection practices, mail out management strategies, backup procedures, new technology, growth ideas, and how TIRM could be enhanced to further increase profitability. Meanwhile the Ideal development staff participated and documented all suggestions and ideas to be added to the development request list.

TIRM now prints price tags!
An all new Windows plug-in for TIRM provides intuitive functionality for designing and printing laser price tags. This new module supports graphics import, so you can use your logo or other graphics;
