Texas based
Alliance Rental Centers,
owned by Kelly Sayre, and Rent City, owned by Robert Briley, have
completed the
acquisition of 8 stores from TNT Video & Rental owned by Dan
and
Tam Sharff. Alliance and Rent City each bought 4 stores.
Rent City will consolidate 3 TNT locations, leaving the
Brownfield, Texas store open.
Alliance Rental will merge two stores, leaving the Bridgeport and Olney
stores open.
Rent City now operates 16 locations and Alliance Rental has 10 stores. The Sharffs remain in the
business with a new
location in Canton, Texas.
Sayre said the deal was a good fit for all concerned and the
Sharffs were a
pleasure to work with. The transactions
closed Monday, June 27th.
