Coutu's
background in financial services and public accounting, will
be invaluable in taking Rentcash to the next level of growth
and development
Gordon Reykdal, Founder and CEO of
RentCash
Rentcash Inc (TSXV: RCS) announced today that
Darin R. Coutu C.A. will be appointed Executive Vice President
and Chief Financial Officer effective June 30.
Mr. Coutu
replaces Gary J. Wooldridge, who is retiring after holding the
same position
since Rentcash's inception.
Mr. Coutu was previously employed by two other Toronto Stock
Exchange
companies including, most recently, the
Canadian Western Bank,
where he was
its Senior Assistant Vice President and Chief Accountant for the
past two
years. He previously was a Senior Principal for
KPMG LLP and
held the position
of Manager of Finance and Corporate Controller for the
Edmonton
Regional
Airports Authority. Active in the Edmonton community, Mr. Coutu
is a director
of the
Support Network Foundation and also acts as mentor to the
Young
Entrepreneurs Organization.

Rentcash operates under three store banners: The Cash Store,
Instaloans
and Insta-rent. The Cash Store and Instaloans act as brokers to
facilitate
payday advance services to income earning consumers. They
provide two private
label debit cards, the Cash Store Cash Card(TM) and InstaWorld
Debit Card, for
those who may not be able to obtain them from banks. Insta-rent
rents brand
name furniture, appliances, electronics and computers, with or
without an
option to purchase. Insta-rent stores are primarily located in
The Brick and
United Furniture Warehouse chain of stores, which are part of
The Brick Group,
one of Canada's largest volume retailers of household furniture,
mattresses,
appliances and home electronics.
As of June 27, Rentcash operated 361 stores in nine provinces
and two
territories. (178 Cash Stores, 99 Instaloans and 84
Insta-rent
outlets).
