ColorTyme franchisees and families packed the Hilton Netherland Plaza Rose Room Wednesday night to officially kick off the company's 2007 National Convention. 200 people were registered to attend.

Rhonda Davis was recognized by ColorTyme President Bob Bloom at the reception for 25 years of service. "I love this company and I love the franchisees," said Davis, who, in addition to her duties as Director of purchasing, coordinates the company's Winter Operations Meeting and the summer convention.

Mike and Lisa Gavidia are among ColorTyme's newest franchisees. The couple will open their first ColorTyme store in Gainesville, Florida in six weeks.

Mike said the knowledge of his fellow franchisees has been invaluable. "Look around you," he said. "The wealth of knowledge in this room is incredible." And, according to Mike, they are more than willing to share that knowledge. "We're constantly on the phone to other franchisees. They share experiences and ways to avoid common mistakes."
