Using Stealth's online access to store video, the owner, who was out of town, was able to email the burglars image to the store. An employee recognized the burglar and he was arrested immediately.

A burglar broke into a franchise store in Farmington, N.M. in April, 2007. The criminal was caught on camera by Stealth Security Services digital video surveillance. Local law enforcement was able to apprehend and arrest the intruder by using images of the thief caught on recorded video.

Testimony of franchise owner: "The camera that was focused on the personnel door in the back room had the recorded images that we used. The man threw a rail road tie through the window, and smashed it. He immediately walked inside, only about 5 feet, grabbed an LCD TV, and was out in seconds. Even though the store was not able to get a full view of the man’s face, the images were still good enough to make get a full description of the perpetrator."

The store’s owner was out of town when the burglary occurred, but was still able to access the recorded video images of the intruder. “By using Stealth Security Services remote access software, I was able to view the images on-line with my access code. I saved the images to my computer, and then e-mailed the image of the intruder directly to the police.”

The owner also e-mailed the image to his store, and employees printed it out. Ironically, after seeing the images, an employee recognized the burglar! The Santa Fe police arrested the suspect and the thief is awaiting trial.
