After racking up a year and a half of successful sales history, Brown Councill of Baseline Licensing Group says his company is prepared to take the concept of sports home lifestyle furniture to the next level.

"Now that we've proven the viability of the sports home lifestyle category, we have been able to move our manufacturing process to a well-respected facility in North Carolina.  Baseline is fully prepared to ship quality furniture, on time, in the midst of  heavy sales resulting  from the upcoming start of the NFL season,  the college year, and a busy 4th quarter.  Every Baseline recliner and sofa will be bench-made specifically for the customer.  This will give us a lead time of about 4-6 weeks, and our customers can be assured that when the pieces ship, they will be of the highest quality possible and they will ship on time."

Councill added that the company's experience in the rental industry is beginning to pay dividends for rental dealers.

"We continue to streamline our product lineup as we learn what rents.  We're now in a position to provide our customers with very helpful RTO sales trend data and we have adjusted our merchandise accordingly."

Part of that adjustment includes the addition of furniture items featuring highly sought after colleges and the rollout of licensed baseball merchandise to add to Baseline's already powerful line-up of officially licensed NFL, Collegiate, Nascar and NBA product. 
 
Councill says Baseline's most popular item has been the recliner, especially the larger "Big Daddy" version.

"The Big Daddy has really done well mainly due to its size, comfort level and ability to seat a large fan.  Plus, customers never tire of seeing their favorite team logo on their favorite seat in the house.  The most amazing thing about this furniture is the fact that even when it's left the rental showroom floor, it continues to sell itself in the customer's home when friends and neighbors see it, resulting in additional rental opportunities to the dealer."
