Aaron Rents closed at $22, down 3% on extremely heavy volume...1,004,900
shares traded hands. Aarons announced yesterday the price for the upcoming stock
offering is $21 per share. The company is offering 1.5 million shares, Charles
Loudermilk is selling 500,000 shares. After the sale, Mr. Loudermilk will still
own 8.3% of the common stock and 63.8% of Aarons Class A shares.
Aarons stock nearly doubled from January, when the stock bottomed out at $15, to
May 15th when the stock closed above $28. Since May 15th,
RNT stock has given back 22% of that gain.
