that was built to be seen AND used. In a word; stunning"
Rent Way quietly unveiled it's
newly redesigned website to thunderous applause. Normally, when
a website is updated or changed, we refer to it as a re-model.
The term re-model is woefully inadequate to describe
www.rentway.com's
transformation from an also-ran to a bright shining role model
of code.
If internet supremacy among the publicly held RTO companies were
an arms race...Rent Way just 'popped a nuke'. Rent Way's site
represents a quantum leap in RTO site design. A site built to
serve the needs of every potential visitor. Customers,
suppliers, employees...there is quite literally something for
everyone. In a word; stunning.

The smiling faces of happy rent to own customers literally jump
off the home page above the words "Welcome to Rent Way, Your
Family Rental-Purchase Store".
The color scheme is true 'eye candy', a solid cross section of
merchandise is displayed in an organized fashion, navigation is
intuitive, and well know brand names are prominent on the
homepage. And if all that weren't enough, the intrepid surfer is
also treated to the smiling face of
Bill Morgenstern himself!
Job seekers are treated to what can only be described as a
lightshow of current Rent Way employees extolling company
virtues. The company's
Inclusion Team, led by Wallace Wright, is featured with
thorough explanations of Rent Way's policy of "Diverse
Backgrounds, One Team". The presentation is so well done, I was
halfway through sending my resume before I remembered I already
had a job!
Note: The entire site will soon be available in Spanish to serve
the growing Hispanic community.
By clicking on
MyRentWay, visitors can set up their own personalized
webpage complete with Rent Way info, news, email, personalized
calendar and more. (The MyRentWay portal was designed by Austin
Texas based FundsXpress)

To put it nicely, the 6 biggest companies in our industry have
not exactly been leading the cyber-way. Most sites give the
impression of existing as an afterthought. All that changed
today.
