WithIt, founded in 1997, encourages and develops leadership, mentoring,
education and career opportunities for women in the home furnishings industry |
Women in the Home Industries
Today (WithIt) is accepting nominations for its annual WOW
Awards, to be presented at the October 2003 International Home
Furnishings Market in High Point, N.C. The awards honor
outstanding individuals and businesses in the home furnishings
industry.
Nominations can be made in one of the following categories:
- Legacy Award
Presented to a woman who has made significant lifetime
contributions to the home furnishings industry.
- Mentoring Award
To a retail executive or organization that has fostered
advocacy, development or promotion of women in their company.
- Education Award
To a manufacturing executive or company for the creation of
programs to education associates, retailers or consumers about
home furnishings.
- Leadership Award
To salute an individual who is under 40 for outstanding
achievement and demonstrated potential to become an industry
leader.
