Budget Phone, Inc. continues to expand as the largest prepaid
home phone service company in the United States, offering
customer friendly products such as prepaid home phone service,
prepaid long distance calling cards and wireless recharge.
Budget Phone products are distributed through their national
network of more than 6,500 agents and each product is supported
by their Customer Care Center.
In addition to prepaid home phone service, Budget Phone offers a
web-based wireless recharge solution that requires NO POSA
TERMINAL PURCHASE OR LEASING. Agents earn up to 20% commission
without the counter space issues or the charge of POSA terminals
associated with most wireless recharge products. Also, when
agents make a wireless recharge sale they instantly retain their
profit. Budget Phone replenishes for carriers such as AT&T
Wireless, Cingular Wireless, Verizon wireless, Tracfone
nationwide prepaid wireless, Alltel wireless, i-wireless, T
Mobile, Boost, Omni, Airvoice and CallPlus Wireless.
Budget Phone also offers a choice of prepaid long distance
calling cards. Either brand of calling card - “Perico” or “Power
Hours” - provides 40% commission on the face value of each card
sold. The cards feature attractive designs and are supported
with free display racks, posters and point-of-sale materials.
The agent has a choice of cards and denominations ($2.00, $5.00,
$10.00). There is NO COST to the agent to receive and inventory
cards. Customers appreciate the competitive rates and no
connection, access or inactivity fees.
As a Competitive Local Exchange Company (CLEC), privately owned
Budget Phone, Inc. resells prepaid telecommunications products.
Budget Phone’s business model includes a strong network of small
to medium business owners (agents) who sell and distribute their
products to their customers. Agents profit from Budget Phone’s
aggressive commission strategy and outstanding support from
their Agent Care Center - a calling center staffed by personnel
trained to handle product and billings questions. Budget Phone
fully staffs their Customer Care Center to handle questions for
the end user of their products.

Budget Phone’s corporate office and national Agent and Customer
Care Centers are located in Shreveport, La. The company has
steadily grown for the past several years, establishing
customers in 43 states with gross sales topping $80 million in
2004. The company currently employs approximately 150 people.
