Several dealers reported the appliance category
in general, and Frigidaire in particular, as "very
strong" during this year's TARA tradeshow.
Vendors reported a total of over
$1.1 million in purchase orders written during this weeks

Association of Rental Agencies (TARA) Southwest Buying Show
in Austin, Texas.
"We had more companies represented than last year," said TARA
President Robert Briley. To encourage attendance, the group
offered first time attendees free registration and a free
night's stay. Out of state attendees also contributed to the
increased sales. "We had great participation from dealers in
Oklahoma and Louisiana," said Briley.
Vendors were encouraged to offer show specials. "The Frigidaire
program was extraordinary," said numerous attendees.
