Alliance HealthCard (AHC) has completed its merger with Benefit Marketing Solutions LLC, (BMS) making it one of the largest marketers of discount medical services in the country.

Founded in 2002, Benefit Marketing Solutions sells and markets services similar to AHC's and serves over 500,000 members. These members will convert to AHC's delivery system of networks, fulfillment, and member services in the near future.

Existing management for the two entities will remain and Danny Wright, (BMS CEO) will assume the position of Chief Executive Officer for the combined companies. Brett Wimberley, Chief Operating Officer of BMS and Susan Matthews, Executive VP of BMS will remain with the merged organization. Robert Garces, Tom Kiser and Rita McKeown will remain in their current rolls with Alliance.

Alliance is a licensed discount medical provider organization (DMPO) that provides individuals and families with discounted pharmacy, medical, dental, hospital, vision, and various other health services through a half million-provider locations across the country. With the combination of the companies, additional services brought by BMS and Alliance will be added to the portfolio of the combined companies. Some of the services added are road side assistance, AD&D insurance, warranty protection, and Third Party Administration services.

The combined companies serve insurance companies, rental purchase organizations, banks, consumer finance organizations, retail pharmacies and employers.
