D&H Distributing, the national computer products and consumer electronics distributor, has signed an agreement to distribute LCD TV displays from Chimei, a leading global manufacturer of LCD technology. The 32- and 37-inch Chimei LCD TVs are currently available through D&H, and the 42-inch HD versions are scheduled to ship in May.

Chimei's LCD display technology is known for its value proposition, presenting smartly-designed units with high-performance features such as high resolutions, wide screen formats and impressive viewing angles; yet at prices that will make them a popular option for the rent-to-own (RTO)customer.
Value-based LCDs are just gaining momentum in the RTO market. Store owners and dealers have begun to realize they may be able to recoup higher margins on LCD rentals by offering attractive, feature-rich value models, as opposed to the typically pricier units from tier 1 manufacturers.
