ColorTyme, Inc. announced today that Janna Beane of South Paris, ME is the $10,000 prize winner. Over 100 ColorTyme stores nationwide participated in the ColorTyme BigTyme $10,000 Giveaway which brought in nearly 6000 entries throughout the month of November and December 2007.

Janna, who works as a debt collector and a convenience store clerk, was notified of her win in February. She admits she didn't believe the news when she heard she'd won.

"At first, I asked a lot of questions because I never win anything," she said. "When I realized it was true, I called my mother right away. I laughed. I cried. I was a bundle of emotions."

"In our store, roughly 150 people entered to win," said store manager, Bob Eccles. "Most people don't believe they're going to win, but I tell them, you can't win, if you don't sign up."

Dave Colizzi is the franchise operator of the ColorTyme store where the winning raffle ticket was drawn.

"We love being a part of this community and giveaways of this magnitude show our customers that we value their business," said Colizzi. "It's a great feeling to be able to say the grand prize was won here in our store, in our community."

Colizzi will present Janna with a check for $10,000 on Wednesday, March 5 at 12:00 p.m. at the South Paris ColorTyme.

Janna, who will celebrate her 30th birthday in a few weeks, said she plans to buy a used car with her winnings as well as a washer and dryer. She also plans to invest in the stock market.
