Rep. Jim Leach (R-IA) is the biggest catch among these latest co-sponsors. Rep. Leach was first elected in 1976 and is serving his 14th term. He is the highest ranking Republican (behind Chairman Oxley) on the House Financial Services Committee; the committee through which RTO legislation must pass.

Trivia: Jim Leach began his political career in 1965 as a staff member to then congressman Donald Rumsfeld.
