Debuting as dPi’s newest payment platform, Web Central was
released on November 1, 2004. Alex Mittelman, Applications
Developer and his team developed Web Central, which by design,
is an instrument of empowerment. It allows Agents to perform
multiple operations all on one site.
“Web Central gives our agents the power to offer our mutual
customers products and service at the click of a button,” said
Mikell Sullivan, Vice President of Sales for dPi Teleconnect.
Ms. Sullivan, who has been with dPi for over three years, has
been key in introducing Web Central to dPi’s strategic partners.
“While our primary product is residential service, our agents
can now offer so much more. Prep-paid cellular, pre-paid credit
cards, Internet, the possibilities are endless,” continued
Sullivan.
Web Central’s sleek interface allows agents to maneuver through
the site with ease. Once inside the system, agents are able to
run transactions, view reports, and check product and pricing
availability specific to each customer’s need.

Agents are no longer limited to product information available to
their specific location. When customers from alternate locations
enter the store, assisting the customer is now a breeze. Agents
can use the Product and Pricing Look-UP function; enter a zip
code, and viola, instant product and service availability
information at their fingertips. Agents now have the potential
to touch customers on a national scale.
“There are instances where technological changes may present a
burden to a store, but Web Central has been a blessing,” said
Chad Mitchell of Kelly Rentals. “Everything we need is at our
fingertips,” Mitchell continued. “We are now able to enjoy a
deeper sense of one-on-one interaction with our customers. With
Web Central, we can place the order for our customers. Now, when
our customers come in to make monthly payments, we’ve
established a connection with them from the inception of the
account.”
Since bringing Web Central into sixteen of their locations,
Kelly Rentals has seen a significant increase in sales and is
one of dPi’s top agent locations.
