Bruno Cossu recently traded 24 years in rent-to-own (RTO) management for a shot at business ownership as a ColorTyme franchisee. Once Cossu met with ColorTyme and learned how his management career would earn him credit with the 26-year-old RTO company, the deal and financing support were completed within six months.

Cossu took advantage of ColorTyme's financial incentives, which reward RTO experience with a $1,000 credit toward the initial franchise fee for each year of experience in RTO management - up to $10,000. The company also offers partnerships between multi-store managers and investors to help multi-store managers become franchisees. For example, with an investment of $20,000, multi-unit operators can own 51 percent of their own ColorTyme store.

“I reached a point in my career where the next logical step was to become a franchisee but I didn’t have the money to make that happen,” Cossu said. “I was surprised how simple the process could be working with Pat Sumner and Bob Bloom at ColorTyme, Inc. They clearly understand the value that an experienced RTO manager brings to the franchise.”

After visiting ColorTyme’s headquarters, Cossu committed to bringing ColorTyme to Roanoke Rapids because of his desire to be a business owner and because of his love for the community. Cossu plans to run his store on the same principles ColorTyme uses to provide financial support to RTO professionals regularly:
