Rent One, one of the nations largest independent rental purchase companies with 36 locations in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Arkansas, will hold it's 12th Annual Charity Golf Outing Thursday, June 22, 2006 at the Green Hills Country Club in Mt. Vernon, Illinois (get course details ; get directions). Proceeds from the event are donated to charity.

Over the past ten years, the Rent One Vendor Appreciation Golf Outing has raised over $70,000 for local charities like Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity, United Way and K.A.R.E. (Kids At Risk Educationally). All proceeds from this year's outing will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis.

The Ronald McDonald House provides a “home-away-from-home” for families of seriously ill children who are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. Money is raised through a combination of hole sponsors, raffle tickets and donated auction items.

There is no entry fee for the event. Rent One provides lunch, dinner and refreshments on the course, plus awards for the top three players in each flight.

Vendors are encouraged to sponsor holes, donate prizes or give-away items for a packet placed in each cart.

RTO Online Inc. will cover the event and provide free 8x10 team photos to all golfers. In addition, RTO Online will donate four full-page ads in upcoming issues of RTO MAGAZINE, the largest trade magazine for the rent to own industry, read by over 10,000 RTO Pros in the US, Canada, and the UK. Free full page ads will be awarded to participating vendors based on several on-course challenges; closest to the pin, etc.

With all Rent One Store Managers and office staff attending the outing, over 100 golfers are expected.
