German prosecutors
have launched an inquiry into the financing of troubled
television rentals company BoxClever arranged by the
high-profile WestLB financier, Robin Saunders.

While Ms Saunders is not thought to be the
subject of the investigation by the Düsseldorf state prosecutor,
it is expected that a number of senior members and former
members of the German bank's board could face allegations of
breach of trust
