Pioneer Electronics (USA) announced that it will continue to provide a free, in-home power supply replacement for certain of its second and third generation plasma models listed below for consumers who experience a problem with the original power supply.

In some cases, a loud popping sound can be heard when a power supply fails. After the power supply fails, the plasma is no longer operable. At this time fewer than one percent of consumers who have purchased these models have experienced any problem with the original power supply. In addition, this reported issue does not pose any health or safety risk. Pioneer will continue to provide the free power supply replacement to support its ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction.

The affected models of consumer plasmas are listed below. If a consumer model is not listed below, no power supply replacement is needed and no further action needs to be taken. If consumers are not sure if their plasma is affected, they should call the toll free hotline for confirmation
