As dPi headquarters employees looked on, David Dorwart, President and CEO of dPi TeleConnect, drew the winning name from a pool of all registered "Greed Is Good" participants. October's winner was Sybil Kearse, Store Manager, Rent America #12007

Hundreds of rent to own store managers and sales associates entered, but in the end, there was only one winner of the coveted October Greed is Good 32’ television.

Greed is Good is designed to encourage active promotion of dPi Teleconnect's home phone service and reward Store Managers who sign up 10 or more new customers.

On November 14, 2005, dPi drew from a pool of registered incentive participants. Emerging from the sea of names was Sybil Kearse, Store Manager, Rent America #12007.

“I was so excited, when I got the call,” said Kearse. “I am one of those people who never win anything [from drawings].”

Kearse, who was among the first to register for the October incentive, was equally thrilled when she realized she could choose between the television and $1,000 cash.

“I couldn’t make an immediate decision. I had to think about it for a couple of hours. A television is great, but then again, so is $1000.” Ultimately, Kearse opted for the cash.

According to Kearse, the win has motivated her to produce even more results during the November period of the incentive.

Like the October incentive period, the November phase of Greed is Good is designed to encourage active promotion of dPi home phone service and reward Store Managers who sign up 10 or more new customers. The second tier of the program allows all registrants to be entered into a drawing for 1 of 10 iPods.
