Aaron Rents CEO R. Charles Loudermilk won the International Furniture Rental Association's (IFRA) Carl F. Barron Outstanding Achievement Award.

The award is the Associations highest honor and is only presented in special circumstances. The award recognizes the individual who provides exemplary service and support to the furniture rental industry.

Carl Barron, founder of Cambridge Massachusetts based Putnam Furniture Rental, presented the award at the trade group's annual meeting in Las Vegas.

One of the featured events at this years IFRA conference was a panel discussion "Industry Outlook-What's Changed, What Hasn't" This discussion was presented by Robert W. Crawford, Jr., President of Brook Furniture, Charlie Loudermilk, CEO of Aaron Rents and Paul Arnold, President of Cort. Each panelist gave their perspective on the current status of the furniture rental industry, the furniture manufacturing industry as well as trends in the retail and rent to own furniture industry. This discussion was lively and induced a lot of thought-provoking questions from the audience.

Mr. Loudermilk is a co-founder of IFRA.
