Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman cut the ribbon to officially open the World Market Center (WMC) during the inaugural Vegas Market in July. 2006 Market attendees can book hotel rooms through the real-time online reservations system.

Following the success of last July’s host hotel program during the inaugural Las Vegas Market, World Market Center officials are pleased to announce another terrific hotel roster for the January 2006 event. Exhibitors and attendees can now begin booking hotel rooms for the upcoming Market, being held January 30 - February 3, 2006, using the real-time online reservations system. Special discounted rates, as low as $72 per night, are available for the period of January 24 - February 7, 2006.

“During the July Market, our hotel lineup was very popular among attendees and so we’ve really listened to all of their comments and included everything from budget accommodations to luxurious properties in our hotel block for this event,” said Show Director Briana Mackey. “We received such a great response with the large numbers of attendees booking through our block that it has really allowed us to offer attendees competitive rates at hotel properties throughout Las Vegas.”

In addition to the hotels listed above, Bellagio and MGM Grand are scheduled to be added to the roster soon. In order to ensure the best availability, we encourage all attendees to book their hotel rooms early.

World Market Center has once again partnered with ITS, a full-service, one-stop travel and housing provider, to negotiate custom room blocks and rates at approximately 15 hotel properties. The rates will not fluctuate throughout the week, nor is there a minimum stay at any of the properties. For added convenience, attendees will not be charged at the time of the booking. Instead, it’s known as a “pay as you stay” policy which means guests will pay upon check-in. Up to five rooms can be booked through the real-time reservations system on-line at www.lasvegasmarket.com. ITS will also work closely to customize larger blocks of rooms for exhibitors and buyer groups who have broader needs.
