Wayne Chambers has been named president of High Touch Inc.. A Wichita native, Chambers began his Rent-To-Own Industry career in 1976 with Remco in Houston, Texas. Chambers and wife Susan have four daughters.

Lyle Jones, president of High Touch for 15 years, will retire in November, 2005. He will continue on the company's board of directors

High Touch, Inc. the leading supplier of software to the rent to own sector, announced Wayne Chambers as the third president in the history of the company. Mr. Chambers will succeed Lyle Jones who is retiring at the end of December 2005 after 15 years as president of High Touch. Mr. Chambers will assume Jones’ duties in November of 2005 and Jones will continue to serve on the board of directors.

Chambers, a Wichita native, began his Rent-To-Own Industry career in 1976 with Remco in Houston, Texas. He advanced through the ranks with several rent-to-own companies to become the Vice President of Finance at Home Choice Holdings until 1999 when it was sold to RentWay. Chambers then joined Advance America Cash Advance Centers, Inc. where he is currently Executive Vice President of Administration.

“In searching for the next president for High Touch, Inc., we took very seriously the need to find someone who fit our company’s values and could provide leadership in the industries we serve,” stated Vice President and Board Chairman Mark Lenz. “We felt that Wayne’s deep experience with both the Rent-to-Own and Payday Loan/Financial Services industries provided an outstanding fit for us.”

In accepting his appointment, Chambers stated, “I appreciate the confidence being placed in me by the board of directors. I am ready to serve as the new president building upon their 21 years of experience providing quality service and software to the rent-to-own and payday loan/financial services industries.”
