Boxclever, is
in play. According to reports,
Alchemy Partners, a UK based private equity group, is
backing CEO Roger Mavity's £200m bid for the troubled company.

Alchemy Partners, an investment company specializing in
turnarounds, is lead by Managing Partner Jon Moulton. According
to the company, Mr Moulton is a graduate in Chemistry and a
Chartered Accountant. Before Alchemy he was director in charge
of buy-outs at Apax. Formerly Managing Partner at Schroder
Ventures (now Permira) in London from its inception in 1985
until 1994 and before that with Citicorp Venture Capital in
London and New York. Very experienced in buy-outs of a wide
variety. Past chairmanships and directorships include Parker
Pen, Sheffield Forgemasters, Xenova, Hornby Hobbies, RJB Mining
plc, Technology plc, Brands Hatch and Haden Maclellan.
