Aaron Rents is guaranteeing jobs to all employees affected by hurricane Katrina. In an email to all it's Midwest stores, Aaron's Vice President of Midwest Operations Bert Hanson told General Managers to open their doors to Aaron's employees displaced by the hurricane. "We will do whatever we need to help out; don’t worry about overstaffing in this situation," said Hanson in the email.

Ken Butler, President of Aaron's Sales and Lease Ownership division echoed Hanson's thoughts. "I don't know if any of our displaced employees will show up in your stores or not, but we are guaranteeing them a job, so please open your arms and make sure they feel welcome," Butler told Midwest operators in a follow-up email.
