Rent’N
Go custom wheels & tires president Bob Catino announced the
expansion of the company’s franchising program. “The system is
ready and the results from operations indicate the time is right
to launch our franchising initiative,” said Catino.
Rent’N Go started coming together for Catino after he met Jim
Taylor, a veteran of the wheels & tires business, as well as
seasoned pro in the rent-to-own field. The pair developed the
first Rent’N Go store in Tamarac, Florida. Taylor is the
company’s Vice President of Operations.
“From the very beginning we incorporated the tried and tested
RTO qualities with the growing appeal of the custom wheels and
tires business,” said Taylor. “We opened Tamarac in August 2003
and quickly learned customers liked the offering." Taylor said
the company's initial advertising generated substantial traffic
virtually everyone who visited left with new wheels and tires.
The business’ first year’s results far exceeded expectations.
Rent‘N Go opened its second store a little over a year later
just outside Miami, Florida. The performance at the second
location mirrored that of the first store.
“We
are ready to expand by offering Rent’N Go franchises in selected
markets,” summed up Catino. “Our business model and our
franchise program should be examined by dealers looking to build
a strong financial future in the booming rent-to-own industry
with a highly desirable merchandise line of custom wheels and
tires.”
