Larry Sutton, founder of Rent N Roll, was presented with the Association of Progressive Rental Organization's (APRO) Lifetime Achievement Award Saturday at the group's awards banquet at the Gaylord Palms resort in Orland, Florida. The banquet marks the end of the association's 26th Annual convention and tradeshow.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Sutton by outgoing APRO president Shannon Strunk. Strunk said, "Sutton has literally spent his whole life in retail and rent to own."

From Curtis Mathes to Champion Rent to Own, Home Choice, and his current passion, Rent-N-Roll, Sutton is the most recognized face in the Rent to Own industry. His training and motivational presentations have rewarded thousands of RTO professionals with valuable lessons an treasured memories.

Sutton said after receiving the award, "Your looking at the luckiest person that you'll ever meet." All of Sutton's children surprised him by showing up at the awards presentation. Sutton remarked, "As great as this award is, I hope my kids can stand up some day and say, 'dad was a pretty good business man and passionate about a few things, but in reality, he was just a pretty good dad'."
