For the second year in a row, Ronald McDonald House St. Louis was selected as the main recipient of funds raised at the Rent One annual Vendor Appreciation Golf Outing this summer. Larry and Sharon Carrico, owners of Rent One, recently presented the donation to Dan Harbaugh, executive director of Ronald McDonald House of St. Louis.

The charity’s ability to serve communities where Rent One stores operate is key in Carricos’ support of the organization. "The Ronald McDonald apartments and services in St. Louis directly affect many of our Rent One customers and even employees," says Larry Carrico, President of Rent One and Board Member of The Ronald McDonald House St. Louis. Rent One has stores in Southern Illinois, Southeast Missouri, Arkansas and Southeastern Indiana; all areas that would access St. Louis for medical care.

“Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for families of children who require overnight stays in a local hospital. It can also be an amazing support network for many families,” continues Carrico. “ St. Louis hospitals offer some of the best pediatric care in the country so it is no surprise that families choose to come here for care of their children.”

All of this was made possible by the vendors who support Rent One with generous donations and hole sponsorships at the Annual Rent One Golf outing held every summer.
