The Premier Companies Kicks off 2010 Convention in Orlando

2009 was year of milestones for Premier. In March, the company was named the fifth fastest growing young franchise in the United States by Franchise Times Magazine (see story) - marking the first time any rent-to-own company has made the "Fast 55". In addition, Premier launched several major marketing and operational initiatives aimed at providing franchisees with the tools they need to succeed.

"In 2009 we focused on enhancing services for existing dealers," said Trooper Earle, founder and CEO of The Premier Companies. "We launched online and field training programs, expanded marketing services, enhanced purchasing programs and dealer financial assistance programs." Premier also recently launched an automated business intelligence and data-mining program.

The convention's theme - Celebrating Excellence - is a reflection of Premier's performance in 2009. "Despite a challenging economy, The Premier Companies gained franchisees and increased its store-count during the year," Earle said.

Twenty members of Premier's executive team got an early start Sunday with a team-building exercise at the Marriot's rope course and zip line. See 93 photos from the event here. Vendors, dealers and guests will officially kick off the event Monday with a golf outing at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club followed by a welcome reception.
