A side by side comparison of Rent to Own VS Retail and specific phrases you can use to explain those differences fully to your customer. Your customer will be better informed, you will write more agreements.

Always use "bridge words" such as, "What that means to you is....". When explaining the Rent to Own transaction.  List the benefits one at a time with a clear comparison to retail.

All we need you to do is to fill out an Information Sheet consisting of personal information on yourself, your spouse if applicable, employment information on both party's and four relatives that can be contacted by telephone. It doesn't matter where they are located in the U.S., however a phone is a must and they cannot be of the same household or have the same phone number.	All Retail Stores qualify their customers based on their credit rating.

The cash value of the merchandise you are renting is $1299.00, and the monthly rental rate is $ 120.00 if you pay a months rent to put it in your house you will be paying a small percentage of the value of the property and you and your entire family will be enjoying it today.	Most Retail purchases require large down payments such as 20% - 30%.

Free Maintenance while they rent	COMPARED TO
For the entire time that you are renting we will take care of the maintenance of the merchandise. If anything mechanically goes wrong, it will be taken care of by us at no expense to you. Customer abuse is not covered under this warranty. We will repair anything mechanically that goes wrong with it for the entire rental purchase term. If the item you are renting breaks down we will loan you another so you will never be without the service you are paying for.	If you purchase this item at a retail store you will have a 90 day Warranty on Labor, One Year Warranty on Parts and Two year Warranty on the Picture Tube.
